Welcome!

So, I am currently working on my Master's in Atmospheric Science, and somehow have made it to 23 with, well, subpar cooking skills. On more than one occasion this included setting pots of boiling water on fire.

As you can guess, I love the weather. I live with my boyfriend and out 2 dogs Hamming (Age 4 Golden Retrieve/Labrador) and Shannon (Age 1 Australian Shepard/Cavalier Spaniel) in the amazing state of Colorado, where we have easy access to tons of fresh, locally grown veggies and locally raised meats. If only I knew how to use them!

Up to now, I can make pasta dishes correctly about 80% of the time, and only get burned when cooking meat...every time. With the help of my amazing boyfriend, most of the attempted dishes get salvaged, but I would love to be able to make us a meal without asking him a billion questions!

Anyways, heres hoping to a decrease in cooking disasters!
